Physical Appearance
Hair: Short, curly dark navy-blue with icy blue streaks, fluffy and usually messy like he just got outta bed
Eyes: Mismatched; right iris sapphire-blue with a blood-red pupil, left iris crimson with electric blue pupil (glow faintly when he's emotionally overwhelmed)
Physique: Lean, wiry, and deceptively strong. Looks like he was sculpted for agility, not brute force—but those arms? They hold trauma and power. Broad shoulders hint at how much he carries without saying it
Physical Attributes:
- Curved oni horns, protruding up from the forehead; light blue fading into blood red. Sensitive. Don't touch unless invited.
- Elven ears – twitch when flustered or overwhelmed.
- Icy blue-colored claws – long, semi-translucent.
- Double fangs – retract slightly, but sharpen instinctively during arousal or aggression.
- Soft red markings trail from his eyes like smeared eyeliner. Sometimes pulse when he's upset.
- Long, agile tail, covered in thick, sky-blue fluff at the tip. Extremely expressive. He hates it but also hides in it when cold or embarrassed.

Visual Description
Setsuen's Animasignis is a fractured, deep-blue core veined with glowing red lightning, embedded like a meteorite in the heart wall. It radiates a faint, fiery aura visible through his skin in the form of glowing cracks during emotional overload. Looks like a chunk of crystallized rage suspended in time. During battles, you can see it pulsing under his ribs—like a dying star about to go supernova.
Physical Features
Texture is rough like volcanic glass, but overlaid with smooth, veinlike channels glowing faintly. When his Animasignis flares, tendrils of blue flame lace his veins, visible like glowing tattoos along his neck and arms. His breath fogs from heat. His chest feels like a furnace from the inside out. Pulse Pattern: Erratic under stress; slow and hypnotic when he's calm. When he demonifies, it turns blood-red and throbs violently.
Effects
Massively enhances his pyrokinesis—lets him control temperature, combustion duration, flame shape, and intensity. When Setsuen is pushed to his limit, the Animasignis ignites, seeping blue fire through his veins like a second circulatory system—this fuels his "Demonifying" transformation. When angry or overwhelmed, the Animasignis causes aura bleed—others around him may feel dizzy, panicked, or aggressive. Passively boosts his reflexes and regeneration during high-stress situations (especially if he's protecting someone).
Symbolism
Setsuen's Animasignis doesn't just represent anger. It symbolizes sacrifice, pain, and survival through fire. Satan chose to die and live on through his heart, branding him with everything she could not become—the mercy in wrath, the silence in fire. It's a reminder that he devoured his family to survive. That he was born from sacrifice and lives as a weapon. "Every heartbeat hurts. But if it stops… then her fire dies with me. I can't let that happen."
Hazards if Removed
Immediate consequence: Setsuen would go into cardiac arrest. His regenerative powers would short out. Spiritually: His soul—bound directly to the Wrath Domain—would begin to fragment. He may experience: Panic seizures, Visions of the orphanage fire looping on repeat, Personality disintegration — losing his nurturing, quiet side and reverting to a purely instinctual berserker. Without the Animasignis, Setsuen's regeneration fails, his flames die, and he becomes… human. Weak. Vulnerable. Long-term: He would likely slip into a coma where his internal fire doesn't shut down—causing his body to self-immolate over time. "If they take it from me, I'll burn. And if I burn, I'll take everything with me. Even the people I love."
BONUS LORE
Setsuen's Animasignis is unusual. Unlike traditional Animasignis' of Wrath who rage without remorse, his Animasignis is deeply fused with guilt. This creates a unique flame signature:
Sapphire Flames
Cold-burning. Used in self-defense, healing burns, and to purify. Only comes out when he's calm.
Blood-Red Wrathflames
Appears when he's panicked, hurt, or enraged. Wild, uncontrollable. Cannot distinguish friend from foe.
Ashen Flames (extremely rare)
A third state triggered by total despair—flames turn gray and don't burn, but cause everything they touch to rot, decay, or crumble from grief. Known as "Radix Lapsorum (The Soot of the Fallen)."

His Demohues (๔є๓๏ђยєร) work tirelessly. Cuts, bruises, broken bones—he heals like his body wants to keep fighting. But hit him too much, too fast? He can't keep up. If wounded repeatedly in the same spot, healing slows and eventually stops until rested.
Pyrokinesis/Manipulation
His sapphire flames are gentle-looking but brutal in heat and precision. He can ignite anything he touches, throw waves of bluefire from his fingers, or shape flame into temporary claws or shields.
Weapon – "血炎刃 (Chienha)"
Setsuen wields a luminous katana (but can also shift to a sentient humanoid being, like a soulbound artifact), imbued with his demonic energy. With a surge of his sapphire flames, he can summon the blade to his hand, ready for combat. The sword's edge glows with an ethereal light, making it appear spectral and otherworldly.
Demonifying State
When pushed too far, his flames turn blood-red. Hair, tail, nails shift to red. Sclera blacken. Flames becomes chaotic, explosive, harder to direct. Voice distorts. Aura becomes toxic to weaker beings. In this form, he doesn't speak. He growls. When it ends, he's wrecked. Catatonic. Sobbing. Shaking. Often hugging his knees or seeking out someone's heartbeat just to stay grounded.

Backstory
"The flames weren't supposed to be blue. That's what they told me when they found me in the ashes of what used to be my home..."
Setsuen Arashi is the middle child of the demon who once ruled all of the underworld (hell), Satan and a regular human Takashi Arashi. He has two older twin sisters, Yokou and Shokou and a younger brother, Shou. Unlike what many people depict Satan as, she’s rather calm, supportive and overly caring. During her teenage years she was more rogue and feral, but since adulthood and ruling over the underworld, she has changed her ways. Takashi is hardworking, optimistic and helpful. He’s just a regular human, working as a construction worker. Shokou and Yokou are rather similar, being quiet, shy and introverted. They often see the worst in things and are always in agreement. Shou is also quiet, but more shy and innocent, being the youngest (six years younger than Setsuen).
How Takashi and Satan met: Satan had ruled over the underworld since she was eighteen years of age. She stayed as the ruler for five years until resigning and making her way into the human realm. She was hunted by demon hunters and had to live in abandoned buildings or alleyways for months until a fateful day approached. Satan was running from the demon hunters, getting a head start away from them. She hid in a building under construction, thinking it was an abandoned facility. Takashi was just getting off of work, grabbing his belongings before noticing Satan. He was overly shocked, but he grew concerned when seeing Satan in her state. Her clothing was torn, she had no shoes and her hair was all tangled and not taken care of. Before Satan could even explain her situation, Takashi made the commitment to help Satan until she was ready to take care of herself (financially and mentally). After Takashi had taken Satan home, he finally let her explain why she was in such a state. Satan told him everything- about the underworld and all the supernatural beings that exist. He didn’t seem too surprised or cared that Satan was a demon since he wasn’t religious and didn’t care about all those stereotypes that humans have made. The one who was shocked was Satan. She was expecting such kindness from anyone. After living with Takashi for a few months, the two grew closer than ever, eventually finally agreeing to date. Soon, the two have Shokou and Yokou.
After three years, Setsuen was then born, though he wasn’t planned, but Satan still loved him with all her heart. Six more years passed and Shou was born and he wasn’t planned as well, but everyone still loved him nonetheless. Takashi was the only one providing for the family since he is the only one with a job. Satan wants to help financially, but there is no way without anyone figuring out she is a demon thus being sold out to demon hunters. She decided to provide the family with fruits and vegetables, growing them in the backyard of their country life home. They would get livestock, but they don’t have the money for that. Before Shou was born, Setsuen spent most of his time either playing outside, watching TV or drawing. Shokou and Yokou showed no interest in playing with Setsuen so he left those two alone. When Setsuen played outside, he always came back with some type of wound (young demons wounds don’t heal like regular demons since they’re still young. The age their wounds start to heal quicker is twelve years). When he was getting treated for his wounds Satan would always sing to him to make him feel more at ease. That's where Setsuen got his main motive of singing. In the same year that Shou was born, Takashi got laid off from work. He grew more depressed and turned to alcohol for comfort, rather than his family.
Most of the time, Takashi would sit in the living room, watching TV whilst drinking, eating or sleeping. Him and Satan argue a lot, with Satan losing the argument, getting beat. Satan made a promise to herself when she first arrived in the human world that if she were to have offspring, she’d never use her demonic abilities again. Satan didn’t want them to be afraid of her or the abilities, she wanted them to see it as a blessing for defensive reasons. While Takashi went more into his depression, he became more hostile, taking his anger out on his children, except for Shou because he’s literally only a baby. Setsuen stood up to Takashi most of the time, trying to protect his siblings and mother, enduring the pain. Takashi berated Setsuen, calling him an abomination to this world due to the fact that he looks more like a demon than the rest of his siblings. Later in the months, Takashi’s co-workers/friends became worried and decided to visit him. They didn’t know anything about Takashi’s home life or even the fact that he has Satan and kids. They weren’t big on demons and disagreed with them living in the human world.
Takashi opened the door and his Co-worker/friends didn’t like how Takashi had been handling things with alcohol, so they started chatting for a bit. Satan tried to keep the kids hidden and quiet in the other room, but Setsuen was curious. He’s never seen another human being besides his father. He peeked around the corner but tripped, falling onto his stomach. Takashi’s Co-worker/friends were shocked to see Setsuen since they didn’t know he had a son, but once Setsuen raised his head and stood up, they became horrified. Takashi tried explaining that Satan or his kids haven’t done any harm, but his Co-workers weren’t having it. They immediately dialed the Order of Celestial Vigilance thinking it was the right thing to do. Takashi quickly shut and locked the door, turned and glared at Setsuen. He lectured and yelled furiously at Setsuen, panicking. He could get a huge fine with money that he doesn't have for hiding demons, nonetheless having children with one. Satan rushed to Setsuen, comforting and trying to think of a logical plan. She knew that even if she ran, she wouldn’t be able to take care of her children probably, leading them down a dark path.
She then came up with a plan; let the most capable one devour their bodies and escape. Satan looked between her children with tears filling her eyes. She already knew that Setsuen had the most potential between them all. She then explained her plan to everyone with Setsuen disagreeing at first, not wanting to live in this scary world alone. Satan then agreed to let Setsuen raise Shou so he would be alone and lonely. Satan extended her arm out into this flame-like portal, bringing out a luminous katana. She handed Setsuen the katana and gave him a soft smile and said her farewells. Shokou and Yokou didn’t like the idea, but also knew logically that they all wouldn’t survive even if they got away, so they agreed to sacrifice themselves for the greater good. Takashi watched in horror as Setsuen slaughtered them all. Even though it wasn’t part of the plan, Setsuen slaughtered Takashi as well, getting back at him for the pain he put them through the last couple of months. One by one, Setsuen devoured their bodies, flesh, organs and even the bone (demons have strong teeth to break bones). At that moment, he unlocked a new potential of power, how much stronger.
He performed the same trick Satan used to pull out the katana, but to put the katana away. He grabbed Shou and escaped through the back of the house just as the demon hunters arrived. He was too sly for them to realize that he had escaped. A couple days passed of roaming with no rest, he came across an older looking building. It was also in the country area, isolated. He walked up the stairs and knocked on the door with a lady welcoming him. Before he could say anything he handed the lady Shou before collapsing to the ground. The lady brought both Shou and Setsuen into the facility. This facility was actually an orphanage. This orphanage is called “Ranyu.” They nursed Setsuen and Shou back to health and treated them fairly well for a while. The head of the orphanage did a little research and examined Setsuen and Shou some more, they noticed that the two of them were demons. The orphanage wasn’t doing well financially, so they did a little more digging before finding out that basically anything about a demon, especially the horns, eyes, and offspring can be sold on the black market for huge prices. The head of the orphanage, Cicilia had the idea to try and make offspring with Setsuen while still testing his limits on other factors.
The staff of the orphanage set up testing mechanics in the basement and a cell for Setsuen. Cicilia wanted Setsuen to be fresh and untainted, so she locked him in the cell most of the time except for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Setsuen was giving hand me down toys and clothing from kids who got adopted. He made a few friends during the eating hours and all the kids were treated normally except for Setsuen. Shou was an infant and there was nothing they could use from him. Since Setsuen had not gone through puberty, they could not produce offspring just yet so they had to wait but in the meantime, they ran other tests such as endurance tests and wound regenerative tests. Even if he didn’t produce offspring, Setsuen was still seduced/raped, given no mercy by corrupted workers at the orphanage. Sometimes the workers weren’t even there for their lustful needs, they just wanted to beat the living hell out of Setsuen just for being a demon.
Eight years after enduring all that type of pain, the orphanage facility now tried to make offspring out of Setsuen since he was fourteen years old, going through puberty at the time. Before the facility could even try anything, one day, Setsuen just couldn’t take it anymore and snapped, unleashing a wave of huge but beautiful sapphire-colored flames in the basement, extinguishing anything and everything. The fire spread throughout the orphanage with Setsuen who was the only one who had escaped. His wounds had healed quickly, except for his right arm that was tested for acid, lava and fire back to back, making the wound regeneration in that arm stop working. He felt guilty for burning his friends and at the last minute he realized that Shou was still in there, but it was too late. The fire spread to the boiler room, exploding before Setsuen’s very eyes, making him drop to his knees in horror. He had a moment of screaming and dread until composing himself. After the fire had died down, Setsuen gave all the kids, good workers and Shou a proper burial before moving on into the big city. This is where his life changes. He spent three years living in alleyways and abandoned homes (just like his mother).
He came across an academy not too long after. The academy allowed Setsuen to join as long as he doesn’t use his abilities to harm or kill anyone and to never consume human flesh. This academy is for the special humans that gained supernatural abilities. This academy helps train the students to use their abilities properly, mainly for greater good, but there's no stopping students from doing the opposite. This academy is called Yoso Academy. Setsuen got his own dorm, free of charge, just so long as he agrees to their terms. A year has passed since attending Yoso Academy.
The current state of Setsuen, he’s become more passionate about singing and even created a music club at the academy. He shares his singing online, but his voice is barely heard, but he won’t give up. He wants to fulfill his childhood dream to share his voice to the world. He’s also part of an anime/manga club too. He often gets bullied during his time at Yoso Academy just for his strange appearance and 'special attention' since no student besides a few and the academy staff know his true nature or all hell would break loose, especially with the Order of Celestial Vigilance watching his every move...
